Chapter Relations Committee
The Committee will evaluate and develop programs to support and build SOCAP Chapters. The Committee will be comprised of all SOCAP Chapter Presidents which will also serve as a means to stimulate creativity, collect feedback, identify best practices and encourage sharing among SOCAP Chapters. The Committee will also advise the SOCAP Board of Directors on ways that SOCAP can better support and grow the SOCAP Chapter System.
Conference Committee
The Committee will provide overall direction and content guidance for the development of the SOCAP Annual Conference, the SOCAP Symposium and other events as approved by the Board and which are aligned with the SOCAP Mission, Vision and Core Values.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee may act in place and instead of the SOCAP Board of Directors between Board Meetings on all matters except those specifically reserved to the Board by the SOCAP Bylaws. Actions of the Executive Committee shall be reported to the Board for ratification by mail or at the next Board meeting.
Member Services Committee
The Committee will evaluate and develop new member service programs that will enhance the value proposition of SOCAP membership, generate revenue and are aligned with the SOCAP Mission, Vision and Core Values. The Committee will make recommendations on these new programs to the SOCAP Board of Directors.
Membership Committee
The Committee will secure and maintain an active and growing membership for SOCAP International. The Committee is charged with growing the membership of SOCAP consistent with the organization’s core values of expanding the global community of customer care experts. The Committee will submit an annual membership plan to the SOCAP Board of Directors.
Nominating Committee
The Committee, chaired by the SOCAP Immediate Past Chairman, will solicit feedback from the full SOCAP membership on the names of potential candidates to fill position vacancies on the SOCAP Board of Directors. The Committee will consider all submitted nominations and recommend a slate of candidates to the SOCAP Board and membership in accordance with the SOCAP International Bylaws.
Publications Committee
The Publications Committee will provide oversight and guidance related to the content and direction of the SOCAP International Magazine, Customer Relationship Management Magazine. The Committee will also provide content direction for Update Newsletter, the SOCAP website, and contribute support for additional communication vehicles that promote the SOCAP Mission, Vision and Core Values.
Resource Management Committee
The Committee will provide financial oversight and transparency in the financial processes of SOCAP International focused on the SOCAP Core Value that fiscal responsibility is vital to the long term success of SOCAP. Additionally, the Committee will monitor and approve the Association’s annual budget process, including oversight of any budget adjustments through the association’s fiscal year. Finally, the Committee will support and review the annual SOCAP Financial Audit and oversee SOCAP’s investment policies and procedures.
Executive SANG Committee
The Executive SANG Committee will provide direction and program insight for the SOCAP Executive SANG. The Executive SANG Committee will create an annual plan of proposed activities to the SOCAP Board and Resource Management Committee annually for review and approval.
Food and Beverage SANG Committee
The Food and Beverage SANG Committee will provide direction and program insight for the SOCAP Food and Beverage SANG. The Food and Beverage SANG Committee will create an annual plan of proposed activities to the SOCAP Board and Resource Management Committee annually for review and approval.
